Ron Stock, MD presents Health Reform Policy to Practice at October LHS Collaboratory

Join our October Collaboratory as we host Ron Stock, MD, MA who is a geriatrician, family physician, clinical health services researcher, and former Director of Clinical Innovation at the Oregon Health Authority Transformation Center.

He will discuss Oregon’s unique approach to redesigning the clinical delivery system through community engagement, state health policy reform, strong public/private leadership, and creating an infrastructure that promotes a continuous learning environment including a statewide utility for Project ECHO. With support from public and private non-profit grants, he has dedicated his 30-year career to improving the quality of healthcare for vulnerable populations with complex care needs, focusing on redesigning the primary care delivery system in the community using an interdisciplinary team model.

We will have a panel discussion after the presentation. Please register to attend.

In August 2017, Dr. Stock co-edited a book, “Health Reform Policy to Practice: Oregon’s Path to a Sustainable Health System, a Study in Innovation” which tells the story of Oregon’s nationally-recognized health reforms and impact on national reform efforts.
